Tony Hochstetler
Tony Hochstetler is a sculptor of animals, more particularly a sculptor of reptile, amphibians, insects, birds, and marine life. He has won numerous awards, including various awards from the Society of Animal Artists and the National Sculpture Society.
More recently his work has been exhibited at Gilcrease Museum Rendezvous 2006, as a featured artist; the National Museum of Wildlife Art, Jackson Hole, Wyoming; the National Academy of Design, New York; the National Sculpture Society's Masterworks of American Sculpture: Selections from the Members of the National Sculpture Society 1875 – 1999, Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum, Wausau, Wisconsin and various other shows.
Hochstetler's work is featured in the collections of the Gilcrease Museum, Denver Zoological Gardens, Wichita Art Museum, Benson Park Sculpture Gardens, H.Y. Jung Museum of Bronze Sculpture, Bass Pro Museum, the Hudson Corporation, and the M. Ross Mason Corporation.
Hochstetler is a member of both the National Sculpture Society and the Society of Animal Artists.
