Impressionist Still Life in Oils

A still life serves as a slice of history and a way to tell a short story. A still life created today may tell a very different story then one created during another era, although there may be some common elements and themes. The still life created during this workshop will contain some timeless common elements. Students will come away with new drawing skills, paint mixing, composition, and learn the process of painting the Impressionist Still Life. All Studio Programs (except Rendezvous Master Class) are suitable for students, 16 and older, and require pre-registration. Materials are provided for all Studio Programs except where noted. All Studio Programs take place in the Gilcrease House. Visit
