Advanced Seminar Series Symposium -
America: Idealism and Reality
Gilcrease Museum presents four scholarly perspectives on how American ideals were defined. Each analyzes how the country's citizenry supported the dream of progress that shaped what we have come to accept as a national identity. Speakers will show that America, both historic and contemporary, is a place of contradictions that requires a variety of public opinions and voices to keep its system of freedoms alive.
Presented as part of the programming for the exhibition
