 The Kids Site was recently transformed into a world of Impressionism. The new Kids Site installation os full of busy children learning about light and color. In an environment that encourages exploration at different activity stations, a child can create color combinations by manipulating Plexiglas shapes, play at the computer station with games or on the drawing program, discover the way shadows and light change as the sun reflects off a sculpture, and relax at a color and reading table.
Created to complement Transcending Vision: American Impressionism 1870-1940 and related workds in teh Gilcrease permanent collection, this gallery is a new addition for families that should not be missed. Plan on making a it a stop on your next visit to the Museum.
