 Kids’ Site features many of the cultures of Mesoamerica - Aztec, Maya, Zapotec, Olmec, Mixtec, Nayarit along with those of South America. Little ones become expert excavators as they dig out buried artifacts in our great, big Dig site! The dig artifacts, wall images, and touch cart objects reflect these creative traditions. Two computer stations allow access to games, music, cultural information and a database of related permanent collection materials. The gallery is supervised on weekends. Staff assist with computer stations, touch objects and generally oversee the dig site to ensure safety of all. Funded by the Ralph and Frances McGill Foundation and the Trust Company of Oklahoma.
