Biography:

Gerald J. Fritzler is a signature member of the American Watercolor Society, National Watercolor Society, Transparent Watercolor Society of America, Colorado Watercolor Society, Rocky Mountain National Watermedia Society, Northwest Rendezvous Group, International Society of Marine Painters, and the Laguna Plein Air Painters Association.
He has been awarded numerous awards, and his watercolors have been exhibited in many prestigious national exhibitions including, the First Exhibition of American Western Art in China; the National Academy of Western Art; Cowboy Hall of Fame; Artists of America; Colorado Historical Museum; A Brush with Reality, C.M. Russell Museum; 2001 A Watercolor Odyssey, 25 Year Retrospective Exhibition; Western Colorado Center for the Arts; Plein Air Painters of America; Salon De Arts; Colorado Historical Museum; Maynard Dixon Country; Western Rendezvous of Art; and American Art in Miniature, Gilcrease Museum.
Fritzlers watercolors have been featured in numerous art magazines and publications including, Watercolor Magazine, Winter 2004; Southwest Art, September 2001; Art of the West, July/August 2001; The Artists Magazine, January 1994; Southwest Art, June 1991; American Artist, January 1990; and Artists of the Rockies and the Golden West, Spring 1985. His watercolors are represented by Claggett Rey Gallery, Vail, Colorado; Grapevine Gallery, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Fritzler Fine Art, Mesa, Colorado.
