Biography:

Jerry Ricketson is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma but travels the country in search of diverse subjects to paint. His education was acquired thru years of workshops at the Scottsdale Artist School in Scottsdale, Arizona, and the Fechin Institute in Taos, New Mexico. Also, he has studied with Richard Schmid after being accepted into Schmid’s Masters Workshop. Whether painting a landscape, still life or figure, Jerry paints in a realistic manner but utilizes loose brushwork and strives to create a three dimensional feel in his paintings.

Jerry has won numerous awards including “Best of Show” at the NatureWorks Art Show in Tulsa as well as the “Merit Award for Landscape” at the Salon International show in San Antonio, Texas.
