Artist Bio :

Tony Hochstetler sculpts animals, more particularly reptiles, amphibians, insects, birds, and marine life. Born in Goshen, Indiana, he is a member of the Society of Animal Artists and the National Sculpture Society and has won various awards from each organization.

Most recently his work has been exhibited at Gilcrease Museum, as a featured Rendezvous artist; the National Museum of Wildlife Art; the National Academy of Design; the National Sculpture Society’s Masterworks of American Sculpture: Selections from Members of the National Sculpture Society 1875-1999 exhibit; the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum, and various other shows.

Hochstetler’s work is featured in the collections of Gilcrease Museum, the Denver Zoological Gardens, the City of Tulsa, the Wichita Art Museum, and the Benson Park Sculpture Gardens.

He resides in Ft. Collins, Colorado.
